Synapse & Partners has the pleasure and honor to present below its ambitious project to build a medical hub, unique and pioneering in its kind in Tunisia and Africa.
“The International Medical City of Sousse” is a health complex with an overall area of 50.000 sqm to be built over 6 years (from 2022 to 2027) on a plot of 10.000 sqm in the Sahloul area ; and will be composed of polyclinics, buildings of medical consultations and specialized care centers.
A private paramedical training institute is integrated into this hub with the aim of continuously improving care for all health establishments in the region.
This project would produce approximately 7.500 jobs and strengthen the position of the city of Sousse as the national, African and international health destination by offering exemplary care to Tunisian citizens and foreign patients – thus contributing to the development of medical tourism in Tunisia.
At this stage, the International Clinic of Sousse and the Medical Centre Consulting are under construction and aim to be operational within 18 months.

The International Medical City of Sousse IMCS is a project to build a healthcare hub composed of 9 multidisciplinary and complementary care establishments, with an overall area estimated at 50.000 sqm and detailed as follows:

The project will be located in Sahloul, opposite the Sahloul University Hospital Center on a plot of approximately 10.000 sqm.
A land, owned by the state and adjacent to the project, would be developed after the necessary administrative agreements into a green space: center of life and fitness trail.
